2011 Volunteer Spirit Awards are co-sponsored by DOVIA and the Volunteer Center of Sacramento. In place of a monthly meeting all DOVIA members are invited to recognize your outstanding volunteers and attend the VSA’s.
This year the 2011 Volunteer Spirit Awards will be held on Friday, October 28, 2011 from 11:30am – 1:30pm at Arden Hills Resort Club & Spa.
The Volunteer Spirit Awards is the only local volunteer recognition ceremony that focuses solely on volunteers. It is a small way to say thank you - to pay tribute to hundreds of selfless community members that donate thousands of hours to Sacramento’s non-profit community each year.
Volunteers who are nominated for the awards are complimentary. Additional tickets are $45/each and can be purchased by contacting the Volunteer Center. Family and friends of the nominated volunteer are encouraged to attend the event.
