Workshop description: Research tells us that diverse teams are more agile, and in times like these, organizations must be innovative. It is thus imperative we honor workplace commitments to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. In this interactive webinar, we'll cover an overview of DEI terminology and how to successfully facilitate a virtual and inclusive dialogue. 

Presenter—Katherine Manley  Assistant Camp Director, Girl Scouts Heart of Central California
Whether in her current position as an Assistant Camp Director for the Girl Scouts, or in previous roles in social media at KQED and in public programs at the de Young museum, Katherine navigates them all through the lens of social justice, compassion, and equity. Her areas of focus and expertise include: LGBTQIA+ identities, white privilege, outdoor stewardship, gender equity, and youth mental health.
