DOVIA Presents:
Betty Stallings

Training Busy Staff to Succeed with Volunteers

Don’t assume that staff who are required to supervise volunteers have the skills, knowledge and attitude to carry out this important function. Today’s Leader of Volunteer Programs must become the resource person to other staff and leadership volunteers who supervise volunteer activity within the organization. Topics include: uncovering and responding to staff resistance, orienting staff to the volunteer program, assessing staff training needs, gaining access to staff for training, essential training topics for staff and tips on training and adult learning.

Learn how to bridge the gap and foster mutual respect and appreciation between staff and volunteers.

When: June 13th, 2013

Time: 10am-3pm

Location: Shriner's Hospital, 2425 Stockton Blvd, Sacramento, CA

Cost: $50

Included: 4 hour training with renowned trainer and consultant, Betty Stallings. Light lunch and beverages will be served.

Upon registration for the event, you MUST pay the fee. Whether or not you attend.
