Table Talk: Exploring Ideas for Volunteer Appreciation Events

Join us for an open discussion to share creative and not so creative ways to celebrate and recognize volunteers during volunteer appreciation week and throughout the year.

Instructions for bringing documents about your Volunteer Appreciation Events (don't worry if nothing is in writing, come anyway and explain it):

1. Please bring written documents that outline the logistics for any volunteer appreciation event you are coordinating or supporting.
2. You can share this in the chat with attendees. We will teach you how to download the documents.

Here's a few ideas on what to bring if you can in a digital form, do you have any of this type of information? We would love just to let attendees steal and not start from scratch.

• Event overview: date, time, location, and purpose
• Roles and responsibilities: who is doing what before, during, and after the event
• Supplies and materials list: items needed, quantities, and who is responsible for obtaining them
• Budget details: estimated costs, confirmed expenses, and any pending approvals
• Communication plan: messages to volunteers, timelines, and channels
• Setup and teardown logistics: arrival times, layout notes, and cleanup plans
• Training outline for staff and lead volunteers assigned to the event
