Deanna Berg is a community impact consultant focused on bringing people together to tackle “wicked problems” – those thorny issues that are difficult to solve because they are multi-layered and involve multiple stakeholders with unique needs. Her 30-year career has focused on volunteerism, community outreach, and cross-sector partnerships, with a history of senior level roles in higher education, national non-profits, and AmeriCorps programs.
Deanna previously held roles as Director of Hands On Sacramento and Executive Director of Reading Partners Sacramento. In addition to project based work, Deanna is currently taking pre-requisite courses leading to an encore career as a Hospice or Palliative nurse.
